There are miles of paved public trails here in Thurston County that are perfect for walking, bicycling and rollerblading. There are access points to these trails just a few miles from the park, the nearest one is on Waldrick Rd, just past Steadman Rd.
Wolf Haven International is a nationally recognized wolf sanctuary that has rescued and provided a lifetime home for 200 displaced, captive-born animals since 1982. Guided 50-minute walking visits offer guests a rare, close-up view of wolves.
